Every airframe has a longer story.
The Canadian period is part of the aircraft’s history, not the boundary of the research.
Canadian Dakotas is a long-term research and publishing project dedicated to the Douglas DC-3, C-47, Dakota and related variants that spent part of their operational lives in Canada.
Rather than documenting only Canadian registrations or operators, the Airframes volumes follow each aircraft throughout its complete known history—from construction and early service through its Canadian career, subsequent ownership, export, preservation, accident or final disposition.
